Growing by the Day
I know what you’re thinking. But I’m neither pregnant nor complaining about being overweight. Not today at least.
This post is about my cats. When we got our kitten Jazz, I thought it was so cute how she was so tiny.
I wondered how the cuteness would go as she got bigger. But see for yourself, she’s still super cute. I can still pick her up with one hand.
She’s such an attention whore too. Jazz loves company and attention. While anti-social Belle sulks in the bedroom, Jazz curls up in peoples’ laps, giving them Puss in Boots eyes.
Belle usually watches Jazz with wary eyes, knowing her tail could be pounced on at any moment. Some of Jazz’s latest pounces include: a curtain which she pulled down while breaking the curtain rod, the vase of flowers that she knocked over, and the tile from New Orleans she pushed off the counter.
I tend to let her just explore and play with the hope that she’ll calm down with age. Belle used to climb window screens and she stopped that. So I guess I just have to wait until Jazz gets too heavy for her claws, and then she’ll chill out.
I have made promises to myself that I will be a more hands-on mommy when I have real babies. And now for the photos.
